Oh! Hi there, I’ve missed you!

open eye

It’s been awhile, how have you been? Well, I hope. How were the holidays? Good? I sure hope so.

It’s been so long since I sat down at this keyboard and started typing. “What happened to you?” you might be asking. Well, I decided that I could make a video game. It was working out pretty well for a while, but then the realities of that sank in. If I had started that endeavor pre-kids, I am sure it would have been no problem. But that is seven years in the past.

You know what I am good at? Playing video games. You know what else? Even without anyone here, the site soldiered on. That is surprising and makes something deep inside feel all warm and fuzzy.

Now that I’ve said all that, If you are mad at me for vanishing, I understand that and it’s fair.

But now, I am back to write about video games and maybe some other stuff. If you enjoyed what I did before I went gallivanting into game development, I humbly ask you for a second chance. I promise not to leave again.

I also want to take a moment to thank Bitterly for his 7 Link Saturday and the rest of the content he put up while I was gone. That was good stuff! Hat’s off to you, sir.

Now I want to talk about games, with you. Games are great! So let’s do that!

I have a few reviews already in the oven. Most notably, I played though Outlast and its DLC. It scared me quite a few times. (That’s a lie. It scared me more than quite a few times. It scared me a whole cargo ship load of times. It was great.) So those thoughts are coming.

My Steam library grew thanks to all the seasonal sales we went through. I am not sure if I have played much of what I bought, but that is kind of how Steam works. Right?

What big news did I miss writing about? Oh, how about that Kinect being removed from the Xbox One. That was really kind of big!

Assassin’s Creed Unity? Yikes!

Brad giving FarCry 4 his Game of the Year award? Rad!

Well, I think that is enough yapping. It’s time to get back to the business of writing about video games! It’s time for me to start pondering how I am going to make it to E3 this year. It’s time to go ask (and or beg) the guys to come back. It’s time to play game! It’s time to figure out how to get a podcast up and running! It is time to have some fun! Because, THIS IS SPARTA! (BUT NOT REALLY!)
