Playing – Tearaway (Vita)
tearawayFrom time to time I like to drop some truth here. Here is today’s: I think that Little Big Planet isn’t’t a good game. I just don’t really like it, at all. Feel free to send me hate mail. Anyway, we are not here to talk about Little Big Planet are we?

Tearaway falls on the other end of that spectrum. I really love Tearaway! I think the thing that entertains me the most is my face living inside the sun. Just hanging out in the background, there I am, with a grin plastered on my face. I really like making things to plaster on Iota (the main character), like a fedora and a bandolier! This game has so much charm. Nay! It may have all the charm!

Playing – Hero Academy (Steam/iOS)
ha copyI was in a dark place with Hero Academy. I wasn’t having fun. Then, something clicked and my tactics shifted from laying down and dying to putting up a fight — then laying down and dying. That is not true for all the matches I am playing, just for the ones against what I would call my Jedi Master. What I have learned from him has translated into me crushing random player. That feels good.

Playing – Terraria (Steam)
TerrariaI’m converting a dysfunctional obsidian factory into an underwater science center. Because that is something that Terraria will let you do. It will let you do just about anything. I don’t know what I am going to do with my underwater science center. Maybe I will start a society of high concept thinkers and we will live in bliss outside the shackles of government oppression.

Playing – Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (PlayStation 3)
black ops 2Free-For-All. It’s three important words that are getting lost in crushing tide of team based deathmatch. I don’t like team based deathmatch. I didn’t go into Black Ops 2 for the single player campaign — I just can’t take the Call of Duty gibberish anymore. I came to Black Ops 2 for the online Free-For-All matches. I don’t know the maps very well, but I am not doing that bad. I play with voice chat on mute. It helps think that I’m not doing that bad.

Well, I’m off to game.
