Horror for the Holidays – The Winner

Another Horror for the Holidays screening went down last night and watching Leprechaun at the theater with a crowd was tons of funs.  It kicked off with another round of classic Movie Trailer Voice Over Guy promos and I have the following two words to pass along to everyone:

Burnt Offerings

Then I have another word for you:

Epic (sorry, I don’t have a link for this one)

Anyway, Leprechaun is an absolute treasure and I can’t wait for the next entry in the Horror for the Holidays series, which will screen at 7:30 on Monday April 1st. That’s right, the Theaters at Mall of America will be screening April Fool’s Day, no joke!

But back to the matter at hand. We recently held a contest to give away this amazing limited edition print and someone is about to win it.

Big thanks to everyone who entered. There were a lot of great suggestions, but the winner struck a few cords with our judging panel. First off, you picked a holiday that wasn’t already represented, and more importantly, you chose a film that was just too near and dear to our hearts. That’s right, Michael Smith, you suggested The Shining for Father’s Day and you are our lucky winner!!

And no I didn’t just make all that up and pick out the most common name in the phonebook so no one would realize I’m keeping the poster for myself… so don’t even go there.

Congratulations, Michael! Everyone involved hopes you give that awesome piece of artwork a really good home!
