Finishing – Alien Hominid HD(Xbox Live Arcade)
I have no idea how I didn’t play this game when it was on the PlayStation 2? Other than the fact that I had no clue it existed, I really don’t have a good reason. I am having so much fun with Alien Hominid. Not normal fun, but the type of fun that The Behemoth seems so good at crafting. Logically after playing Castle Crashers, I should have been glued to Hominid. What I can’t get over is the heavy amount of extremely graphic violence!

How was there not a misguided group of people up in arms that this game is easy to download? I am not promoting that they do so; I am just surprised they haven’t!? The little Alien is a PSYCHOPATH! Usually I like to play through a game once before revisiting levels. I probably would be done by now if it weren’t for that freeway level. I just can’t get enough of replaying that! It is so fun! I am now two levels away from finishing it. Kind of a shame…I wish it had some DLC to extend the fun!

Played – Castle Crashers (Xbox Live Arcade)
No, I am not doubling down on The Behemoth games. I happened to log on and Rambler was playing. I was very excited. I love playing this game with other people! But it was not meant to be because Castle Crashers makes it too hard to just drop in and play. I did take some time to fight my way through the horde. Again, so much fun. I would love to have some Dan Paladin original art from this game. I would frame it because it is more art than most art you see in art galleries. I used the word art far to much in that last sentence! If you ever want to play, feel free to hit me up. We can drop some badies!

Finishing – Crimson Alliance (Xbox Live Arcade)
I don’t even know if this one is worth mentioning. I downloaded this one early in the morning just after our newest son was born. He wasn’t sleeping well so by the laws of association, neither was I. In my tired haze I used my one time character select and started a new game. I really can’t say if I am enjoying Crimson Alliance. But, I haven’t given it much time to show me what it’s all about. Well, it’s all about getting you to buy the DLC. I don’t know how I feel about a free game that wants you to buy the rest of the characters. Were they not confident that the demo would pull people in? As far as I can tell, I can finish the game with the character I selected. If by the end I deem it awesome I just may do that. Developers got to get paid!

Finishing – The Club (Xbox 360)
Bizarre Creations made some of my favorite games, and I am sad they are gone. I think Project Gotham Racing was amazing and don’t get me ranting about how mind boggling Geometry Wars 2 is. But the Club? What a strange and cool game. I wasn’t very far when I stopped playing,w and it took a moment to remember the controls. This game is super wild. It’s like a corridor shooter that isn’t trying to be anything but just that. It has just about as much story depth as a Steven Seagal movie, but that is just fine. It is a tight shooter and has enough other wild stuff going on that you can’t have anything other than fun.

Stop! It’s Chronicles time.
I think my break from Xenoblade Chronicles is officaly over. I didn’t really want to take that break, but I knew I needed too. It seems that you can have too much open world in your gaming life. My goal this weekend is to turn on the Wii and walk back into the fantastic world of the Bionis. Hopefully they left all my things alone while I was gone.
