Finishing – Dead Space (ios)
I got some time to delve into the belly of the Sprawl last night. This game presents an issue for me. I love Dead Space very much. I don’t know if I like Dead Space on the iPhone. I have been told that it is worth it for the story. I am not a big fan of virtual thumb sticks. While Dead Space has an obviously superior control scheme to most touch screen games, I am still not enjoying it.
I have been told it controls fine.
That is what I have been told.
Finishing – 24 The Game (Playstation 2)
What on Earth is going on? I don’t know if it is a gift, a curse, or if Playstation 2 discs are disintegrating as they get old. Much like The Thing, 24 has thrown up a disc read error. That’s fine I guess, I just have 2 “hours” to go. I am more in a hurry to finish it so I can hide it in a hole behind my house than to see how the story plays out. It just keeps getting more and more vanilla.
That’s it?
Pretty much. I am going to try to finish both up this week. I need to go track down a disc polisher. I thought we were past that stage in human evolution. Guess I was wrong. So very wrong.
I guess I can note that I have a horrible toothache. Only eight more weeks until I get insurance from my new job. Fingers crossed that the crippling pain doesn’t become worse because the ice pick I have shoved in my jaw is just about all I can take at the moment.
Well, off to play some games.
